I specialise in Corporate and Commercial work, including commercial contracts business sales and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. My practice also involves working closely with other advisers in the setup of business structures and in finding succession and exit strategies for shareholders and partners. Working closely with our Commercial Property Department is key to success on land development, in areas of corporate structures, and funding advice and with our new build residential sales advising overseas clients on these types of purchase.
Having worked at Scott Fowler for 15 years, my role has always been within the accounts team. I joined as a senior legal cashier and have progressed to become the Office Accountant. I am currently studying with the AAT. Day to day I am responsible for meeting compliance standards with SAR and reconciling all office banking transactions. Key aspects of my role also include, accurate reporting to the senior management team, the maintenance and control of the companies purchase ledger ensuring all invoices’ are processed in timely manner. I am also responsible for inputting payroll.
I work in the Litigation Department and my work is primarily focused on matrimonial issues, divorce and financial remedy proceedings. I liaise with clients, answering telephone calls, assisting with clients' queries where possible and relay messages. I correspond in writing and by telephone with clients, other solicitors, agents and other professional parties. Our department offers advice and support with family law, general litigation matters, personal injury, debt collection and landlord and tenant issues. I have had experience as a Legal Secretary for many years.
