We are seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor ideally 2-4 years PQE.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to develop their career.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Commercial Property, who is also a partner at the firm, and will benefit from their knowledge and direction whilst managing a caseload of commercial property matters for a wide range of clients.
The caseload will focus on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, landlord and tenant matters and will also include working on complex development matters with support.
This is a friendly, close knit firm which has developed substantially in recent years and receives regular instruction from new and existing clients, and has a well-established client base in Northamptonshire and beyond.
In order to be considered for this position you must be a qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience handling a commercial property caseload. We are interested in hearing from Commercial Property Solicitors with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
Provide a quality, tailored and supportive service to prospective and existing clients.
Responsibility for new business activities, developing and growing the client services aspect of Residential Conveyancing with responsibility for initiating client contact, selling the Scott Fowler service, setting up and creation of client files.
Assist the teams with their specific needs in Residential Property, with a focus on supporting the Post Completion team.
To work as part of a team and offer support to the Fee Earners and Head of Department on the full range of conveyancing tasks and duties.
Be responsible for taking and initiating phone calls from prospective clients, giving quotes by phone and email, following up on quotes, and then setting files up in readiness to go to the legal teams, including taking monies on account, producing the client care documentation, and ensuring this is returned by clients along with required identification documentation.
To provide post-completion assistance to the teams, submitting AP1s, scheduling deeds, reconciling accounts and closing files.
Delivering legal services in a manner which is cost efficient for both the client and the firm. Using technology to enhance performance.
Responsible for assisting all members of the department with the full range of administrative duties subject to appropriate supervision. Assisting and enabling others in the team to achieve financial targets.
